Hey guys
Just a quick question....
I have a 4 port automatic engine and gearbox and a 6 Mt engine with no gearbox..... The question is can I run the 6 port Mt engine with my automatic gearbox.... If so then how.... What would be the conversions like

I don't think there's an elegant way to make this work. The 4-port LIM won't bolt up to the 6 port in a way that makes sense, and the 6-port LIM has extra valves the 4-port ECU won't understand. Plus injectors wiring, etc.
You can probably assemble it and get it to start, but I don't know that it'll go far.

Smoking turbo yay
It might be possible to make it work, but it's more work than swapping the engine.

That thread never confirms the actual swap combination being requested; 6-port motor with the 4-port 4-speed automatic transmission. Even if you get it bolted on and in, the transmission was never designed for the higher power or the higher rpms of the engine. As others mentioned you'll also have to revise the PCM and wiring of the 6-port, which might be an issue with the 4-port trans computer.
