Engine knocking in low gear

I have a 2005 RX8 automatic with about 124,000 miles on it. I just replaced all brake pads, rotors, ignition coils, plugs and wires. Now, when I start to drive, there is a noise in the engine when the car is in 1-2 gear Once the car reaches higher gears and I get the speed up, the noise seems to go away. The car doesn't have idling issues, and the trans seems to shift ok. Any thoughts?

Whenever there is a noise involved, it helps significantly to post a recording (audio or video).

Wish I could, but the noise only happens as I'm driving.

Steve, the noise only started after you did work on the car ? If so, go over everything you did, twice. Are you sure the noise is engine related ?

Maybe one of your belts and/or transmission synchros? I'm gonna echo what dynamho said, it's best to get ears and eyes on instead of trying to troubleshoot something blind.

The noise did start after changing the coils, plugs and wires, but I know it isn't a loose bolt/nut or anything. I'm thinking that it may be transmission related as it only does it in 1st and/or 2nd, but not above.
