My engine mounts are shot. pretty bad idle, causes the exhaust to rattle a bit. the dealership wants my right arm and first child to fix it and local socal shop is just a franklin face below what the dealer is asking. Im going out of state in a week, would it be a terrible idea to have it fixed out of state or is this a type of issue that should be taken care of immediately?

You can wait on it.

There are cheaper and better motor mounts than the dealer's prices too. Labor will still be a factor, but if your prices include OEM motor mounts from the dealer, you can do better.
