1) All warranties start from the date of first purchase.
So in order for your factory engine warranty to expire tomorrow, it would have had to not been first purchased until January 20th 2006, and you would still have to have less than 100,000 miles on it. Basically no 2004 should have any remaining warranty, and most 2005s are out of it now too.
2) If you aren't sure if you have to replace it, then it sounds like you have a problem and are just thinking that it is engine failure? How about describing the problem in detail and we can help point you in the right direction. If it is an engine compression problem, you will be best off going to a dealer and getting a compression test done.
3) You haven't given any information about where you are. So chances are we can't recommend a dealer within an 8 hour drive of you, much less right around the corner. Try going to MazdaUSA.com and using the dealer locator.

Well my 8 is still under 100k but the problem is that it won't start. And when it would start my check engine was blinking and the car would automatically die out when gas wasn't applied. When I did a diagnose a bunch of codes came up so I'm looking into them. Ima be replacing a cold air intake due to the fact mines is a Micky mouse that dose not have a air box, ima change up the mass air flow, since the one I have now says it's for a Toyota.. And ima be changing the spark plugs and wires as for the ignitions. I live near Baldwin park

All car warranties are time and mileage, and they expire whichever comes first. So if you think you still have a warranty because your car originally sat on the original dealer's lot for 2 years, call up MNAO so they can give you a confirmed yes or no. (it's going to be "no") Yes, this means that a car with 10 miles on it but has sat in a garage for 10 years is still not covered under the warranty.
You have no warranty remaining.
A flashing check engine light is a misfire, every time. You most likely are experiencing ignition failure. You mention the wires and plugs, but don't forget the coils. Coils plugs and wires should all be replaced every 30,000 miles. $200 if you do it yourself, $600-$1,500 if you have a dealer do it.
A "Mickey Mouse" intake and a Toyota MAF doesn't sound good at all. Get OEM parts in there.
"Baldwin Park" doesn't tell us much. I have no idea what country that is in, much less state/county/whatever. Learn to be clear about what you are trying to say

I get it my car has no warranty. Well I'll check and look in to the coils and have them changed as well. But as for what I am saying, am I on the right track on getting my car back up and running properly? I live by Baldwin park California
