ESS replacement

what if i forgot to unplug battery and i changed the ess and sprayed electic connecter with contact electrical cleaner. is it ok?
it was fully dry by time i reconected it. I havent tested it as i still have to do reset NVRAM and KAM. 2005 91k

Yes it's fine. The sensors are not powered while the car is off. The car was off, right?

yes car is totally off. I still havent started it as im trying to figure out kam and NVRAM resets. as i changed MAF sensor, COILS and new ESS.
