Exhaust questions

So does anyone have any suggestions for a muffler or resonator muffler combo that would produce a nice loud deep tone for a 04 RX8

Greddy SP/Trust MX have deep growl
Also, search for moroso spiral or similar for a midpipe resonator. You can't get rid of the raspiness in some rpms though, with no cat. I kind of like it personally. But if that's not your taste, with a cat the raspiness almost goes away, not aggressive at all.

JIC made a quality catback with very low rumble back in the day, don't know if they still produce it.

I was looking for the same type of exhaust, deep tones and little to no rasp. I ended up getting a BHR midpipe, catless, and I managed to find an Agency Power exhaust used.

It's super loud and may not be perfect, but it is deep at low RPM and pleasant until about 6k RPM where it starts doing the signature rotary scream until 9k.

There's a couple compilation videos on Youtube with different exhausts.

I have this combination as well and agree it’s loud. My family knows I’m in the neighbourhood minutes before I arrive. A few months ago at a traffic light a fellow beside me suggested to go easy on the shifting, there’s a cop several cars back who will pay me some attention. Still, I pass noise restrictions at the track.

Exhaust

I am currently running a Borla catback w/ a bhr midpipe and racing beat headers, what I like about the Borla is it has a deep tone down low but opens up nicely and screams at the higher rpm’s, I’ve also had the HKS hi-power single exit, but if you’re running catless that one is extremely loud.
