Don't talk down to me, Punk. My "putting words on your mouth" was based on the fact that you are obviously an interloper who knows nothing about how the RX-8 works nor anything else automotive-related. I have been in this business long enough to know exactly who makes the NAPOL coils and why they are not capable of emitting higher output voltages and currents, nor are they capable of lasting longer than the factory coils.
As far as your "honest" assessment, it is premature, at best, and ill-informed at worst. If one is to use these coils, one would be best to use actual Mazda coils instead.
