First week with my DD Rx8 R3

Alrighty... so first week with my new to me Rx8 R3 and all I can say is WOW! every time I jump in the car is a great experience. I've had no issues other then audio but as far as the car is concerned it's running great I have good car knowledge, little rotary knowledge but I've been doing alot of reading trying to catch up the car is completely stock and I use it as a daily driver havnt even had a chance to run it on mountain roads yet but I can't wait for that!! Any suggestions for the new guy to keeping this beauty in good shape I've read that cooling is something to pay attention to and good maintenance witch I already do in the first place ...

Welcome !

RX8 Club’s recommended maintenance schedule, more comprehensive and proactive than Mazda’s schedule.
30,000 miles:
- Replace Ignition coils
- Replace Plug wires
- Replace Spark plugs
- Clean MAF (mass air flow sensor)
- Clean ESS (e-shaft sensor)
- Reset ESS profile
- Clean power steering connections
- Clean battery terminals and clamps
- Replace transmission fluid
- Replace coolant (Mazda FL-22 is highly recommended)
- Replace air filter
- Replace brake fluid (fluid in the brake lines AND the clutch line)
~$300 USD in parts if you shop smartly.

every 60,000:
...all 30,000, plus...
- Clean all chassis electrical grounding points
- Replace accessory belts
- Clean OMP lines
- Replace rear differential fluid
- Replace thermostat
- Clean / Straighten AC condenser fins
- Clean / Straighten oil cooler fins
- Inspect catalytic converter
- Clean / Inspect intake valving
- Consider / inspect all points in 90,000+ as well, many items fail early
~$130 USD in parts if you shop smartly.

90,000:
...all 30,000, plus any 60,000 not yet done, plus...
- Replace coolant bottle
- Replace radiator hoses
- Replace radiator
- Replace front O2 sensor
- Replace motor mounts
- Inspect clutch pedal assembly for flex / weld breaks
~$900 USD in parts if you shop smartly.
At 100k, anything original in the cooling system is really suspect and failure prone. It represents the biggest threat to your engine.

This is awsome lol thankyou alot to look into when I get a day off from work after get most of the plasti dip off the wheels I can see why they hid those once beautiful wheels under the plasti dip .. someone ate curbs often ... but never the less it's looks great. Got on it pretty good yesterday I have to say I drive more like an old lady now owning this car then I did my 2010 corolla lol but yesterday I got the father in law in the car and he goes let's see what it can do... he's a v8 man... Harleys... you know the guy.. lol anyhowafter getting to a less traveled road I may have got on it pretty heavily and man was it a blast or what I knew it handled well but didn't know it would handlexpect that well... anyhow while impressing myself with the handling he's over there in the passenger seat white knuckled and going holy hell.. lol point is I had a blast yesterday with the car couldn't be happier with the choice of my R3 over a Z...
