I own a R3 which has 39000 miles on the clock.

About 18 months ago I took the car in for its yearly service with Mazda but noticed that I had a graunching when changing into 3rd 4th and 5th. Thought it was me a first and started to change my driving style, longer paused shifting. I've had issues with engineers in garages before, they don't know what their doing, I'm an ex aircraft engineer, years ago! So I decided to look into the problem, noticed on the service that the gearbox oil had been changed! Over the Christmas I decided to change the oil again, I only use the car in the summer at weekends, and found that less than 1 litre came out but I put 2 litres went in, guess what.......it works fine now.

Take note garages a ***** nowadays.
