German RX-8 Owner

Hi there,

i going to use this tread to introduce myself and my RX-8

My name is Eric, i´m 23 years old and live in germany. Since september 2010 i´m an owner of a red (´03 231HP-6Speed) RX-8 and i´m really happy with it.

Since mai 2013 i´m registered here in this forum, but i read here for some informations which are not discussed in the german forum long before.

Now something about my RX-8:

Mazda RX-8 231HP 6 Speed "Challenge" in red
By now it ran about 130.000 kilometers (~80.500miles) and still does its job with its first engine^^

here are some mods i did since i got it:


Interior:

- changed all lights to LED
- Audiolink (USB)
- iluminated 6 speed shift ****
- ashtray and doorhandles in piano-black
- some pods for oil-temps and -pressure and one for water temp
- modified OEM steering wheel
- luxury floormats
- Summit trunk strut-bar

Exterior:

- invisible license plate-holders
- fender strakes
- red LED´s behind fender vents
- "Rotary-Power" plates at rear bumper
- backlights swaped to LED`s
- parking light LED`s
- tinted rear windows
- front rotary symbol
- underbody brace (middle two) swaped to some with rotary-design
- red D1-Spec Lug-Nuts + red D1-Spec coolant reservoir cap
- red rotary oil refiller cap
- D1-Spec Oil Catch Tank (round,red)
- Mazda chrome exhaust finishers
- Mazda aluminum door sill plates
- stealth side markers
- red brake calipers
- 2012 the whole car was repainted in factory color with an extra clear coat layer
- rear rotary symbol
- RX-8 3rd brake-mask


technical:

- Invidia Q300Ti catback
- EBC Blackdash brake discs + RedStuff pads
- Racing Beat air duct
- Racing Beat oil cooler guards
- K&N airfilter mat
- Clutchmasters FX250 clutch + Clutchmasters Flywheel
- RX-8 Performance light weight engine mounts
- sports header
- 200z sports cat
- Premix with Idemitsu 1:200/1:250 mesh
- Diamond KFZ-Parts Pulley Kit
- NR-G Grounding Kit Red
- Odula silicone resonated pipe
- throttlebody bypass
- an adapter for increasing the amount of injected oil
- Eibach spacers rear + front 50mm
- WhiteLine swaybars front/rear + coupling rods front/rear
- BC coilovers
- front stur bar (Carbon bar + light weight aluminum foots)
- Axial Flow Shortshifter

Things that will be mounted by the next days

- nothing

And in the near future the engine will be software-tuned.

Welcome to the club! Nice pics and i like the rear rotary light.

Thanks!

In case you dont know:
The rear rotary light is actually a rear fog light, which is required by law in germany...
Thats why the american RX-8´s dont have it from factory, but the german RX-8´s

So, a little more than a year passed by and some more mods were done and some are still under cunstruction

Mods in 2014 by now:

Mazda Front Lip
Mazda Sidesskirts
Mazdaspeed Rear Bumper
OEM Rims paintet piano black
and some ECU Tuning

Waiting to be mounted:

Mazdaspeed Rear Wing
Steel Break- and Clutchline

Some pic´s for now incl. the Dynosheets

Willkommen im Club . The rear fog light and head lamp washers are mandatory in mainland Europe fyi.
Those are good numbers for an engine with many kilometers.
