Got my first RX-8, need advice
So i finally got a rotary, 2006 RX-8, brand new engine from mazda just been driven in, gone 2100km total
The previous owner has installed a clean oil feed system, to which he told me to use castrol racing two stroke oil.
So i'm both premixing in the tank with it and im also adding it to the COFS.
Now, the owner said i wouldn't have to fill the oil through the original oil cap unless im completely changing the oil.
But is it safe to run the 13b renesis ONLY on two stroke oil? this had me a bit worried
The car seems to run really good, but i don't want to screw anything up. should i be adding regular oil too, or only adding two stroke oil through the COFS?
Thanks in advance ;D
Sorry if it's a dumb question

Firstly, rx8help.com will set you up with what you need to know for rotary ownership.
The clean oil feed (called a Sohn adapter) injects clean oil, so keep that tank topped up. You don't need to use Castrol specifically. Actually it looks like Castrol Racing 2T is kind of a weird choice, it's for bikes where engine and trans share oil. The thing you're looking for is JASO FD rating. There are plenty of reasonably priced 2T oils that have it. Lucas semi-synth is one.
You definitely do not put the 2T oil in the main oil neck. You continue to fill that with your choice of engine oil.
