Got my hands a rx8 finally!

Picked it up last wendsday, fell in love with the car as soon as I drove it I have a 93 Miata and had a 2000 bmw 328i as a daily. When I test drove the rx8 if felt like a perfect hybrid of the last two cars I drive/drove in terms of handling and interior luxury. The rx8 I picked up was a one owner car with 88k original miles it has two tone brown and black leather interior w/the pop up nav and DVD player. Is there anything I need to know to look out for in terms of preventive Maintanance or Maintanance in general? And what things are faulty and break easily that I should upgrade first?

Congrats on acquiring your 8 :-) and Welcome to the club..

I hope you got the compression test done
Inspect the ignition components to ensure they are in good order
Get the maintenance history from Mazda to get a better picture of what's been done to the car

Tell us more about your car, share some pics..

Rx8 indeed is a great car, and looks and drives awesome.

It's got the chocolate and black two tone interior

Body is super straight, I can tell the previous owner garaged it from the time it was new

Took it out to a local track to get a better feel for the car, had a lot of people ask how I found a rx8 in such good condition and I shared some laughs with them because I don't have plates yet just the temp dealership paper one in the back window. It was all in all a awesome experience and I'll definitely do it again!

Don't sell the 8! I know I could never sell mine now that I've owned it for a few weeks the car is in a class of its own
