Greddy t618z

Hello all,

I would like to know if the greddy turbo t618z is compatible with rx8 automatic transmission? As per greddy manual, it says high power MT only? Mine is a low power 4 port 4 speed auto. Thanks

It will bolt on to your car. It is not as simple as that though.. you need to have a way to tune the car, you may need to upgrade injectors, upgrade fuel pump, and so many other factors. Read up about turbocharging your car a lot more before you go any further

Thanks for your quick reply Ricky.. really appreciate it. Actually i have already budgeted for bigger injectors and pump. But why need a tuning the e-managed ecu is a plug and drive, right? Sorry not an expert in turbo and i tried to research on other forums but too much confusion.. i want someone who own an rx8 to advise me. Thanks again

The greddy e-manage is pure garbage. Get a laptop computer specifically for tuning and get tuning software (like Mazdaedit for example) for tune adjustments.

E-manage is more of a .......... plug and BOOM .........than a plug and play.
You need to do a LOT of reading on this site ...then decide if you still want to go ahead with it.
