If you haven't done so yet read the new owners thread, then re-read it about 12 times ( no really read this! )
Have you tired doing a search here and/or on google? I can guarantee that your questions have been answered in other threads.

I don't see the check engine light (cel) I do see the traction light tho.

NEVER buy without a rotary specific compression test. Good luck!

Spoiler

Thank you for the reply. Super noob here, hence i thought it was one of the lights, which indicating an issue. So the orange light is just an indicator that traction has been selected. Sounds good. Appreciate the image references and the link. Good info at the link, but the only thing is the price tags which were at the timer of posting, i believe the price for parts are not that expensive at the moment. Am i wrong about the price of parts ? In that they are not as expensive as it is stated.

I have asked the seller for a compression test.Thank you for the info.

the light blinks when the system is doing it's job like preventing a spin out, if it stays solid there is an issue or it hasn't been reset since the battery was disconnected

here is the reset procedure

I'm not sure what you mean buy price of the parts?

Appreciate the pictured details. So it should be blinking, if it is not, then, there is something wrong or the ECU has been reset, either because the battery was disconnected. Got it !

What i meant about the price of parts is the cost of the spare parts. As the guidelines were posted in 2013, i was afraid that the cost of the parts may not be the same anymore.

It shouldn't blink all the time. Basically never on dry pavement. If everything is normal the light is off.

that’s what i was wondering, traction control showing up while the car is parked in the porch.
obviously something is wrong, any idea where this could lead to ? Rough cost of repair or replacement of parts ? Or this could have a host of issues !!!
i am going to view this car tomorrow. Any advice on what it could be, would be very helpful, Thanks.

Could be an ABS sensor. You need to hook it up to an OBD scanner and get these answers from the computer.

But, just to be clear, the light will be on the first drive or two if the battery has been disconnected. It should then turn off.
