Hello amazing people

I need help From all you fine people. I just changed my O2 sensor on my RX8 but it didn’t fix the code that it was throwing me. Something about system being too rich. I’ll post the code number whenever I get home… So what I did is take out all the plastic manifold to get to the O2 sensor harness connector and it looked like it was burnt. So what I did is cut off all the harness connector and I have all the wires peeled so I can clip them together, but I don’t know how to wire it to the actual O2 sensor I need some help please

Ok, well the oxygen sensor has nothing to do with a rich code. So that wasn't necessary. As for wiring it back together, the diagram in post #2 here should help.

Let's start over, what actual problem are you trying to solve?
Have you read the New Owners thread here already?

Loki: My 2005 8 is running too rich. Diagnostics say it’s eiteher a bad o2 sensor or whiting harness connector. I know it’s not the o2 sensor bcs I just replaced it it’s the upstream one. The emissions on my car are terrible. H get out of the car reeking if fumes. So I cut off the harness bcs it looked like it was burnt. I need help to rewrite the actual wires from the car to the ones on the o2 sensor. It’s one white, one blue and two blacks.
