HELP. Crashed car. Need some answers.

So just slid out of control and my right rear wheel slammed Into curb breaking the rim. Their is now a grinding whirring sound coming from it after I put the donut on. Wondering where I should start. My thought was I blew the wheel bearing. Hoping yall have some helpful ideas on what the problem is. Added Info probably doing about 25 to 35 when I slid.

Have you had a look under the car? There is probably quite a bit of damage to the suspension.

Time to get the car in the air and inspect the front suspension. You likely bent a lower control arm at the very least. Any pics you can share would help us better help you.

Any way you can take the donut off and post some pictures? Sounds like something is either bent or broken. Dont drive the car in the meantime.

Congratulations! Well, be safe driving, hopefully it isnt too serious. Would highly recommend taking the wheel off and looking inside to make sure everything looks good at least. Also, try to move the wheel when you have it jacked up to see if there is any play. Keep in mind, this sounds very dangerous to continue driving this car until you know what's causing that noise. Be careful out there!

No problem, glad you are leaving it parked for the meantime. Just from what you described, I would imagine you will likely have to change out the entire hub assembly on that wheel. If you hit with enough force to crack the rim, that would be the first thing I would look at if nothing else appears to be damaged. Good luck.

well looked over the car more havent noticed a single bend or break just rust lmao thanks salt. But just drove it around for bout 20 mins and it sounds like just a wheel bearing it's just humming in the wheel like I have meaty tires. So I think it's not as bad as i thought taking it into the shop next week to further inspect. Which is the hard part most shops keep turning me down just cause of the stigma

lol so I did this as well and the parts I replaced was the front passenger inner tie rod/outer tie rod, upper control arm/camber arm. and then a alignment. when I hit it hit my front pass and my rear pass but most of the impact was in the front side. I replaced them with megan racing front camber arms megan outer tie rods and then a oem inner tie rod.
