help needed

Hi everyone new on here and thought I would try to see if any of you have any ideas over my issue
Before yesterday my rx8 was running perfectly started first time hot cold whenever always instant etc however yesterday I changed the cat section of my exhaust for a decat.
Went fine got the decat on a started it up all good but was blowing slightly so turned off to tighten things up, Whoops! Turned off cold which I've never done before and after tightening the car wouldn't start, flooded it, ran the standard Deflood procedure and she started back up however wasn't running properly idle would not settle and as soon as I came off the revs it would cut out I kept the revs up to get it warm and try to clear flooding but the car still cut out after when I came off the revs, had another go at fixing her this morning got it running again this time with a push (started instant on push) wouldn't idle still but tried to get it warm again by holding the revs after doing this the car decided to simply turn off again this time without me cutting the revs. Am lost as to what problems i may have caused here apart the flooding which I cannot fully clear via a drive while the car won't keep running, seems like an airflow issue but struggling to see how when all I have switched is the cat section of the exhaust, any help or suggestions would be appreciated greatly. Thanks

Welcome.
First thing, your post is a wall of text.
That turns a lot of people away that won't even read it when they see it.
Try breaking it up a little, and don't run on and on.

Ok, why did you delete your cat, and what did you replace it with?

Thanks for response

Apologies for the wall just went for detail

Replaced with toyo sport decat pipe was only replaced honestly mainly for vocal reason and derestriction

Just out of curiosity could damaging my 02 sensor have caused this??

I guess it's possible. If you're talking about the second one on the cat, I don't think it would affect it that much.
I don't really know, tbh.
I was wondering if you had a clogged cat from misfires.
It sounds like your ignition is weak if it's flooding that easy.
If it was running fine before, then it could be a coincidence, but unlikely.
Did you do anything else, or unhook the battery?

The first place I would start is new spark plugs, as it will be the cheapest thing in your ignition to address. If I had to guess , like Cajun said, your ignition does sound weak, so your next step should be replace the coils.

If this is a vehicle you intend on owning long term, go with the BHR kit, as it does wonders for your ignition system and is a worthwhile upgrade. If this is a vehicle that you drive only once and a while, consider Autozone as they have lifetime warranty of your coils, but keep in mind these will likely need replaced every 10k-30k miles (Oem ignition is notoriously weak)

Do some troubleshooting , starting with your ignition system, and let us know what you get

Also, as Cajun stated, did you unhook your battery? it could just be your fuel trims reset and it will need to relearn its fuel curves if you had your battery disconnected for a period of time.

My battery was disconnected overnight the night before as had gone flat

This may well my issue by the sound of it as had only driven once when I fitted the battery first time and not since, was unaware this can cause issues, any solution on how to fix?

I always reset the NVRAM memory any time I unhook the battery.
On my '04, it's the 20 brake stomp.
On S2s it's different, can't remember exactly.
It involves unhooking the battery I think.

Usually the DSC light comes on and has to be reset also, did you reset it?
Did you get any CELs?
