Have had rotas since i got my first one at age 16. Have mainly had old school apart from a couple of S4-S5 RX7s and a JC Cosmo. Have recently purchased a 2003 RX8 with a 13b JC Cosmo Bridgeport turbo conversion, custom intake and FD throttle body, GT35/40, 60mm wastegate, big B.O.V, alloy radiator and Huge intercooler v-mounted, OZ Racing coilovers and 19x9.5" 22p Varrstoen wheels and 225x35 tyres

Sweet setup . How well does it drive ? All stock instruments still work ?

Yeah bro its a mean as setup. Drives mint! And yeah all stock instruments work funnily enough as i have been told they can be a bit funny once you start fooling around with all the electrics and computer side of things haha

Well you do live up in the north island mate so it's a but hard to jump in for a spin haha

Id only consider boosting the renny if I found a good greddy kit at a reasonable price

North Island is where its at bro!! We got Powercruise at Taupo racetrack in a couple weeks. Thats going to be another awesome weekend. Guna crank up the boost and have close to 400hp

Yeah straight up Rad weekend!! Been every year since its been in NZ. And was a V8 dominated event at the start now Hypo Rotas and 4s own it hahaha. You should bring your car along man be good to have some more RX8s there. Was guna start a thread but it wont let me? Says i dont have priveleges to do so? Can you shed any light there?

Does any NZ members know how hard it is to stay legal with lowering the rx8? I know you can go up to 100mm clearance at the lowest structural point but everything is so low already lol.

Was thinking about just tein s techs for now untill i can afford some awesome coilovers

Well to be honest i have never had any troubles with the law and lowered cars and all my cars have been slammed!
