I'm having a hard time making a suggestion at the moment, other than seeing if there is someone local to you (check the NJ threads in the NE regional subforum) that could come by and take a look at things. You are around 2 hours from me, which i don't think i've got time within the next 2 weeks to be able to assist myself.

You need 30 days as a member in addition to 10 counted posts to create threads outside this subforum. However, you can reply to other threads just fine. You should be able to reply to any of the NJ threads.
How did you come to the conclusion that the rear rotor doesn't have compression? If true, that would easily cause your problems.

That would certainly suggest that the water ingestion damaged your engine seals.
If you aren't interested in having a dealer do a compression test on it, then buy a cheap USB borescope off amazon and take a peak in there. If you can wait a few weeks, I can help out with mine. The apex seals should be obvious. Take a look at my decarb pics thread for an idea of what you should be seeing.
As a further note, damaging your engine by driving through deep water is covered under most insurance company's flood damage coverage. If you need a new engine and have comprehensive coverage, it may be worth it to call your insurance company. It also may be very hard to prove however, so depending, you may get some flak from the insurance company.

It might just need a lot of turning over to try and run the water out. I had a similar problem with a nova once and just turned it over and over until it cleared through other than that I don't think I can be much use sorry
