Hi there

I've dropped a couple of posts already whilst I was finding my feet.

Now its nearly 3000 miles added to the RX8 since buying the car, its certainly fantastic and exactly what I need as a wee distraction from my kawasakis.

Travelling around the UK as part of my job has helped me pick up a set of refurbished standard wheels for less than it would cost to refurbish the originals.

One flooding incident that was resolved by following the advice of others and now I can get on with sorting the car out. With replacing the coils, leads and plugs before a complete service of the other bits. As the recent history is a bit hazy.

I intend to get my hands dirty on everything possible to do with the RX but before I get carried away I intend to drop the car into a specialist for pressure tests and diagnosis of possible concerns. So I know I am not throwing money at the wrong bits. Especially with the age of the car and starting to get close to 90k miles I wold expect a few of the many age related issues to be hiding away or just about to make an appearance.

Could do with a little Saltire Icon, as we might be seeing Scotland independance soon.

Welcome! Year and model info pictures if you got them...

There is good data on initial "dirty hands" projects in the $100 Thread below.

Ad, again, welcome.
