How the heck do you remove the trunk light bulb?

Thanks for at least responding. I at least got it to not go on by pushing it in and twisting 1/4 turn. I'd prefer to remove the bulb. I just put a new battery in. You don't know how many times I accidentally hit the trunk button on the FOB and it would constantly drain the battery which added to the demise of my previous battery.

Smoking turbo yay
It's a 194 bulb, you just pull it straight out.
I can't think of why it's hard normally, but what happened to me once is that I accidentally pushed on the socket and it went up into the hole it's attached to. I ended up removing the rear seats and then the rear stereo panels to gain access to the socket, and I pushed it back into the hole.
BTW, I am jealous your remote is that sensitive. The buttons on my remote were pretty useless and you gotta be within 10 feet for it to work, and even then that's a draw of luck. Yes, I had a new battery in it, and it didn't bother me much since I just use the buttons on the door anyway.
