Idle issues and loss of power in turns
Just put in a new mid pipe to replace my cat and the car has a few issues. Sometimes the idle will mess up when coming to a stop and only when coming to a stop. The idle evens out after a few seconds. The other issue is the car wont put any power down through turns. This can be somewhat countered by giving it more gas but its still an issue. Ive disconnected the battery and reconnected it to see if that might help. Theres a vacuum leak somewhere but it was there before the mid pipe install and everything was running perfectly. Ive also gotten rid of the air pump and have a block off plate where it used to be. The car goes straight just fine and it shifts perfectly fine as well. The car supposedly also has new spark plugs and wires as the last owner had that in the listing i found it in. Though i do plan on checking those out.
Any ideas what might possibly be wrong here?

Midpipe shouldn't change cornering at all.
.it might take a while to get the trims straightened out as it will change the mixture a bit. If you are having cornering issues is the traction control cutting in at all?
Don't keep resetting the ECU though as it needs to learn to idle again...

The traction control lights don't flash on. I tried turning it off and the car still loses power whenever i go for a turn. As for the ecu resetting I've only disconnected the battery once. To see if a reset would help and to clean off the terminals. Im aware the mid pipe shouldnt affect it but im just trying to give as much info as possible to get to an answer faster.

I think you may have a fuel supply issue then
If the pump output is low or the tank is low you can get drop in power on corners. How much fuel in the tank?
Not too many things that would effect the ignition in corners so the fuel is where I would start looking.
Do you have a pressure Guage... check out the idle fuel pressure... and try it with the fuse box jumper tripped to see if that changes things at all

I turns out my engine was bad. It died a few days ago in traffic after stalling out a few times. Took it to Mazda to get it checked and they did a compression test and it came back with the numbers averaging around 3.7 which i already know is more than a little low.
Off topic from my original question but does anyone know the cost or ease of doing a swap for a s5 13b and if that'd be cheaper than a rebuilt/new renesis? I highly doubt i have the money for a new renesis unless they just give it away.
If i cant find a new engine for relatively cheap ill have to sell the car and borrow one from a family member.
