Information Overload! (not complaining)

Just got the itch for an 8 when my wife said that she misses the 1995 Miata I got rid of to get a 4 seat fun car (1988 Mustang). Mazda just seems to know how to make things fun. Though I've never driven an 8, I can imagine that it's good. My wife currently has a 2015 6 that is pretty fun to drive. I've always been intrigued by the rotary engines, but I'm constantly deterred by the need for additional care. The information that is all over this site is hugely helpful.
I wanted to say "THANK YOU" to all those that have contributed. It makes researching the car so much easier, even though I know it's only the tip of the iceberg.
That said, you convinced me that owning an 8 at the moment is a bad idea. Haha. I still want to, but it's going to have to wait for a few things to change first. Being ready to drop $2k on a fix to get back on the road, "fun" car or not, is just not feasible right now. The '88 Mustang is much easier to own, though it does come with it's own quirks. I'm going to try to keep up now and then with this forum though. Like I said, I still want to own one, preferrably an R3, but don't we all! Let's see how long I can wait! I'm not known for my patience when I get an idea in my head.
Thank you to all the great contributors to this site!
