Interesting project...

Hello all... I have been working with STS to get a custom remote turbo kit made. I just got the estimate today so i wanted to share with everyone... I really like how the kit comes with a meth kit and for a rear mount turbo kit i dont think the price is too bad.... The only thing needed is a tuning device and i believe you can run this without an intercooler. I think what makes the price worth it is that you can go back and get it upgraded to the twin turbo set up with just the price of the turbo and extra fittings. 'I will get the final pricing for the TT setup' but what do you guys think? I personally believe this is a safe kit coming from a reputable dealer....

Do you really understand what you are getting into?

Meth causes more problems than it solves for the rotary, so running without an intercooler is really not a good option.

The discussion of "twin turbo" makes me think you have zero clue about what is involved with turbocharging this engine. You should REALLY start doing some reading. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-maj...r-upgrades-93/

You would be correct in terms of me being brand new to the rotary motor... i will gladly admit that. But cutting back to the chase, wouldnt i be better off just losing the meth from the equation and get an intercooler kit and tuning software?

Generally, yes. The reason WHY is something that is far more involved than I'm going to get into here, and you would be well served on researching to discover yourself.
