Question Intermittent Clutch Pressure Loss

Hello,

I am new to the forum but I have been a reader for 3 years. Normally, my problem already has been solved but in this case I can't find a case that is the same here.

My clutch recently began behaving oddly. When I get in my car in the carpark on a weekday morning, my clutch has lost significant hydraulic pressure. There is no issue getting the car in gear but the engagement point is near the floor with 'empty travel' after that. However, once I start driving, the pressure comes back and the clutch engages at the normal point. I also notice some pressure loss when gearing down as I enter an off-ramp from the highway. This is nto as bad as the overnight loss but still noticeable.

The most peculiar aspect is that my car will sit for 8 hours at work and I don't experience any pressure loss when I get in to drive home. Even more odd is that I visited a cottage last weekend where my car was parked for the entire weekend and when I got in... no clutch pressure loss.

Based on some of the other posts I've read, it sounds like I need to do a brake fluid flush but I'm unsettled by the inconsistent nature of the pressure loss since most other experiences seem to be consistent pressure loss when the clutch isnt pumed. The only thing I can think of is that there may be a bubble which is affected by the slope of the ground on which the car is parked but it seems like a stretch.

I took my car to the mechanic last week and they noticed nothing in the clutch (because I just drive it there) and they said there is no brake fluid leak. The only other thing wrong with my car right now is that there is rattling in the transmission at speeds < 10km/h sometimes which I have yet to get inspected by a transmission specialist (but I expect these issues aren't related)

Thank you and my apologies if this is duplicating a previous thread.
