Introduction
Hi all,
About 13 months ago I bought a Black Mica 2009 R3 with 28,000 miles from a for sale by owner. I've been a member of the forum for about the same amount of time, yes I know this is my first post. Before buying I read through the New and Potential owners guide multiple times and got a lot of great information. I usually check new posts daily and I'm extremely grateful for everything this site has taught me.
I fell in love with the RX8's looks ever since I bought my 2004 Mazda 6. When I heard Mazda was going to stop manufacturing them I thought I would never get the chance to buy one. After doing some reading and test driving I was able to convince my wife to let me sell the 6 and get the RX8. This means I use it as a daily driver which has worked out great even in the Minnesota winters and I love every minute of it. I think one of the best features, which is also a reason my wife let me get it, is it has the two usable back seats so we can get our two boys in. My boys took the name they had for my 6 and use it for my RX8, "Zoom-Zoom", and when they ride with me I constantly hear them say "Dad, make it do the zoom again". Puts a smile on my face.
Anyway attached are pictures from washing it this weekend. Thanks again for
all the help I've already gotten and will continue to get from this site.
