iPod
Hi I am new to the group ...so I don't know if I can ask a question right way ...but here goes
Other than price ...what is the difference between the iPod integration module from Mazda or an aftermarket one...is there a difference?

I have no experience with the OEM iPod adapter but I do have an older Grom IPD3 with the BTD (bluetooth) add-on and it works great.
Grom customer support has been good, as well.

I went with XCarlink, works great. also added the Bluetooth option for when I feel like streaming music through phone (also nice to have hands free calling)

I have a factory iPod adapter in my JDM RX-8. You can change the track, album, artist and playlist from the dash. It doesn't display the track name though.
That's about it
