Car has been sitting for a few years. I know I need to replace all fluids (gas included). and will most like get new rotors. Need to check out calipers and tires.
I have never owned and RX8 (previous track car was Honda S2k)
Please point me in the right direction to get this car sorted out.

Nice car, looks serious. I'm also new to the rotary world, but I'd think you'd do pretty much the same stuff you would to any other car. Make sure the cooling system is 100%, I hear heat is an issue with rotaries.

What do you plan to do with it? Looks like it was running in SCCA T3. Are you planning to wheel-to-wheel race, time trial, autocross, or just do track days? If it's running it looks awesome as is for track days. Probably has a nice coilover package already. Stock brakes with race pads are fine. Changing out the brake rotors is fine, but if they are in spec not really necessary.
I'd start with fresh fluids and new tires (most likely current ones are pretty old/shot). Check to make sure all safety equipment is in decent nick- especially condition and mounting of seats and belts. Belts are probably out of date for racing but still fine for a track day.
Run it on a track day and get it sorted from there.
Edited to add: you might want to get an alignment as well.

Welcome
Nice find.
I would do fluids, then put a few oz of MMO in each housing. Crank it slowly by hand a few dozen revolutions to distributed stuff around. ATF fluid, about half that much, will work too.
Then pull the E-shaft sensor, or the fuel pump fuse to keep the car from starting. Crank it until oil pressure come up. My take 15 to 20 seconds. Stop after 20 if it does not. My 6 year, garage find, rx7 had pressure in 10.
Then, re-connect stuff and start up.
If you can find out anything about the motor, do it. And, read the threads in my sig.
And, again, welcome.
