I just picked up my Rx-8 a few days ago. It's an 2007 with 48K miles on it. I love the car but I have noticed that the start ups are a little long not much but just longer. Can post video if needed. I had a compression test done before the car was bought and it past with flying colors. I have also read the New owners thread but I want to be sure all I need is coils before I buy them. I have been told to seafoam the car but I haven't been able to unplug the sensor underneath the intake. Any work around?
But aside from all that I plan on sticking around the forum while I still have the car.

Read this before you pursue seafoaming: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tec...r-pics-241867/
Long startups with good compression is going to be either the starter or ignition. If there is no evidence of prior ignition change, change everything, coils, plugs, and wires. Your compression test should have given a starter speed. If it's over 250rpm, then it's not the starter.
