K&N filter replacement for AEM and others,
Yeah I have a dope *** 2004 Mazda RX8, everybody thinks it's a new car, it's been babied, I got it from the original owner, he still has the sticker price with it, I've had it for 12 years and only seen 2 other ones, it is a fun car to drive, the only thing I replaced was the radiator, it had 40,000 miles on it when I bought it from him and they had just put a new motor in it cause he didn't understand how the rotary engine, you think the salesman would have explained it, but it been in a garage always that's why the pain looks so well plus this guy had a car cover and only drove it on the weekends, well I got a sweet deal on it, it's got over 100,000 miles now, I got the AEM CAI, Bennett built coil pack replacement plug-in play , racing cat, I've been looking for a filter for the AEM CAI and seems like they quit making it and K&N too over, part number is RU -311HBK it's black and called the brute force and I found it on Amazon, I think it might be just a little bigger, so I'll rap some aluminum tape if needed, I can't get a straight answer for what size filter, some say 3.25, others say 3.5, well I didn't want it to be too small and not useable, but if it is 3.25 I'll still make it work, love the black look over the red, guess it doesn't matter cause nobody ever sees it, but I've been looking online for 2 days before I found this one and it's just as big as the the that came with it, I pulled off the sock to clen it and be ready for me to replace it tomorrow morning, I took off the toptrim and I can get my hands in there but I'm going to have to pull some screws out of the front dust cover, I'm not wanting to remove it just enough room to slide out the old one and get the new one on hope it fits, it's all good if .25 that's not much, got it for 49.99 Amazon
