Long time Fan finally turned Owner!
Hi everyone.
After wanting an RX-8 since the original concept, and then seeing one in a showroom around 03/04 I finally picked one up. I've been a fan of Rotarys themselves for several years, and have several Rotary friends, So needless to say I have a good idea what I have gotten myself into.
Picked up this 2004 6 Port with 84,000 Miles on the Clock, Detailed maintenance history all done by Mazda. New Engine + Cat in 2009 @ 54K, software update, other receipts for plugs/coils, brakes, fluids, etc.

Bought it Wednesday for $4500..
I put 800 miles on it over the weekend, did some hard, curvy road driving, and have already ordered a set of tires for it... Absolutely love the car.
I already have a dedicated Track-car, as well as car dedicated for big power/speed and also designated daily driver. So I plan to keep this simple, and just enjoy it on warm summer days, with occasional light Autocross or Track use.
I want to keep it stock looking on the outside including the wheels but plan to add the Appearance Package, and then just focus on getting it to handle a touch better, and stop a bit quicker without doing anything that might be intrusive of the original engineering of the car.
For anyone curious, Here are two of my other cars that I frequently drive.
Track Car: 2620lbs, 275whp, 100% Naturally Aspirated.

3800lb Daily Driver, Meant to hit mile long runways and drive in a foot of snow... and be comfortable while doing it..... It's a bit of a sleeper.
