Gday Guy and Gals.

Have owned my VR 8 in Australia for a over 4 glorious years with only a few minor hiccups incurred.
I have been an active member on the Rx8club.com.au forum (under the same name) since i first purchased my 8. Its a great forum but lacks a bit in the greater knowledge database that the this site has.

So why am i posting on here after so long??? seems like i have come into a bit of a pickle concerning low Oil pressure and i have exhausted all my resourses on the club Australia site and searching on here has come up a blank. (perhaps my search skills are not up to scratch)

Anywho, not to waste all i have to say on the first post then have nothing else for the other nine, watch this space for details on Mods done, how i like to drive my 8 and maybe a pic

ok so i brought my 2005 VR Rx8 late 2009 am the third owner and only had 43k km on her. PO had installed a Turbo XS cat back exhaust which i instantly fell in love with.

From here i have research alot of modifications have have done quite a few over the years of ownership.

AEM cold air intake
19"x9" +38 Buddyclub p1's
Project Mu red lug nuts
Redline synthetic oils in G/B and Diff
DBA 5000XS 2p front brake rotors
EBC Redstuff brake pads F&R
Rx8performance cooling fan mod
17"x9&10" Work Meisters
Exhaust Technology(local Exhaust shop)100cel cat and 3"midpipe w/ 6" rotaflow muffler
Tein Monoflex w/ EDFC
Optima yellow top battery

All of this was installed by myself in my garage with my own tools (sometimes with the help of a fellow Rx8club.com.au member) so i kinda know what im doing.... sometimes

If anyone is following this, I made reference to low oil pressure on my car but was waiting to hit 10 post to post in the troubleshooting page. Well anyway today I pulled off the oil pan to check the oil pressure regulators and the front one didnt have the piston installed... idiot.

so searched around the drop pans and in the old drained oil from last time I have the pan off and found the piston. So installed all back together, filled with oil and went for a drive... all is good now, hopefully stays this way for a while.
