Loss of power when revving low
To cut to the chase, my car did have a gutted cat. I put a brand new cat in her, and now I have very low power when taking off or changing gears. It feels like she just can't push the exhaust out, (I can feel a blup blup blup choking kind of feel, she just wont give her like she used to). But once I hit around 6000rpm she jet lines. Not sure if there's an issue with my timing, or what. Also not sure how to fix it if that is my issue.. Any feedback will be considered and greatly appreciated.

Yes that's all. No it's not OEM but I wouldn't say its cheap either. Before I changed it my check engine light was on and it was reading 2 codes. After installing new cat the light still came on but was reading only 1 code; a different one altogether. I keep resetting it and it will only come on if I try to punch it. Unfortunately I cant find my scanner right now so I cant tell you the code, but when I find it I will post it. It wasn't self explanatory anyway.
Thanks for the reply,
Jess
