Loud rattle when coming to a stop and idling??

My 2004 automatic has an obnoxiously loud rattle when I come to a stop or shift the car into gear after it gets to full operating temperature. I need a new AC compressor and that rattles as well so I pulled the AC and blower fuses and left them out. All I've done to the car so far has been a new mass air flow sensor, new plugs (coils and wires in great shape but not new), new vacuum solenoid and I just recently put in the new catalytic converter I needed so badly. I know I dearly need new exhaust headers and an intermediate pipe as well as a full muffler system, just waiting to get paid. But this loud rattle seems to be coming from the throttle body area? It's not real easy to pinpoint honestly but it had only been rattling like this in spurts but tonight driving home from work once the car got to full temperature the rattle was constant when I would come to a stop and idle. Idle also drops down to 750 while its rattling. Now, during the rattle the car does NOT shake at all. It's only the loud rattling sound. It was also pretty cold tonight so that could be a factor I'm not sure. Anybody have any ideas? I'd rather not throw parts at it and hope I get lucky if I don't have to lol
