Low oil light + foamy oil

So I just picked up my 2004 Mazda RX8 yesterday and have been doing a bit of work on it. One of the issues with it currently is the low oil light is on but the oil level is fine. I’d say it’s like 1/4 inch below the top oil mark on the dipstick. The light also comes and goes and isn’t on all the time. The car had sat since February so there is also some condensation in the oil showing as foam on the dip stick. Maybe the foam is causing the oil light?

More likely it's the level sensor in the oil pan.... they have a habit of crapping out

Alright yeah that’s what I read up about, just wasn’t sure if the foamy oil could have effected it. Let’s just hope an oil change and some miles on it will correct it. So far have only driven it for roughly 10 mins. until l get it registered it’ll be sitting.
