Misfire at high RPM

Misfire at high RPM
Hey guys, hope you all are well and healthy. I recently replaced the engine on my RX8 since the old one blew up. The new engine has a good compression and 55k miles on it. After replacement I'm experiencing a misfire at high rpms under load, starting from 4000 rpm it will misfire few times on its way to redline, I can feel it pretty well because it pushes me forward when it does and then continues to rew, however there is no CEL at all. Also it feels like there is power loss b/w 4k and 7k rpm, after 7000 rpm it starts pulling hard, and the SSV is ticking pretty loud, it stops ticking when I touch the lever or whatever it calls, feels like rubber bushing on it is bad. The car has BHR Midpipe, BHR Coils, NGK Wires, and new spark plugs. The person who replaced the motor didn't know much about rotaries, I checked the wires after his works and he didn't press the wire to the spark plug all the way, but it didn't help either. I did reset the the fueling trim with 20 brake pushes, didn't help. My guess is a fuel pump or SSV, but it also might be the ignition system, however there would be a CEL in this case? I'll appreciate any responce or advice, and stay safe.

First thing I would invest in is new spark plug wires if they are old or unknown condition. It’s cheap and BHR coils should last a very long time so I doubt it’s them. New set of NGK wires is $20.

Well, I bought new set of spark plugs to install in the new engine and wires are 5000 miles old

For what they are worth. I'd replace the wires at the same time as plugs
