let me introduce my work to you guys!
I have been working on ae86 parts the past years, but last year I have decided to move on to design and produce performance parts for the rx8.
My design workflow included digitizing the whole rx8 chassis including body panels, to base my designs around them.everything i do is done in cad environment and are cnc machined out of 7000 series alloys, chromoly and stainless steel materials.
So far i have done the general design of the front suspension, including geometry correction for lowering, steering angle increase to 63° lock while keeping ackerman angle, adding adjustable static camber, adjsutable trackwidth, independently adjustable caster and camber angles.
next will be the complete redesign of the rear axle, including the upright, control arms in similar fashion and making a strong drivetrain with 2-way clutchpack lsd.
