Morning
Not really a new member, since I joined back in 2005. just don't have any post on the forum because I never had an 8; Now I have two. Been dealing with rotaries since the 80s, RX 2, 3, 4 trucks wagons 7s. Do my own engines and performance upgrades. have a 2004 silver with 77,*** miles on it. Fairly clean and looking better than a thirteen year old car. Replaced the radio with a 6 CD Bose. Changed the steering wheel to a new looking one, (still stock)

Carbon fiber
Bought a bunch of CF covered parts, (water transferred CF look). Cluster bezel, dash vents side bents, rear door handle and seat belts cover/cap, looks descent. Planning and thinking on adding the navigation system that is coming off the other 8 I have.

In need off
About the only thing I need to replace on this car and take care off is some minor dents and scratches and the flimsy visors, other than that the car is just as good as it was when driven off the lot.

You guys may already know this, but Mazmart has the upgraded, improved Mazda OEM visors at a good price:

I bought a pair and have 'em in my trunk just in case, though both of my originals seem to be perfect, showing no signs of separating.

That's such a bullshit answer that it might actually make sense from the Mazda standpoint. My buddy commented as I nearly ditched the car when I first picked it up how the center glove console likes to close, doesn't like to stay locked open. His reasoning is that Mazda is confused as to why you'd be drinking coffee when you are in a race car.

So you can still see through it when it's down. If you on the taller side, the visor fully down completely obscures the windshield. It's just dash, steering wheel, maybe a bit of hood, then visor then roof liner. The holes let you see where you're going, while blocking out most of the sunlight. There were probably more elaborate and expensive ways to do this, but it does the job :D

cleared out
Finally got the car cleared out of clothes and ready for some pictures. Got up Saturday morning and was bed ridden until yesterday. Bought some newer visors and a good airbag cover that will go on this weekend.

I see that white 7 in the background!! So, you bought two 8's at the same time and are concentrating on the silver 8 currently or you already had the red 8 and bought the silver 8 in addition to it? Any pics of the Bose stereo?
