My 2004 RX8 wont start.
This is my first rotary car and it's still really new to me. My car wont start and i dont know why. Its been stationary for about 3 weeks. But it has a good battery, replaced the starter 2 days ago with the upgraded one, coils\spark plugs have been replaced within the past 5-6 months, and the car still wont start. Itll crank but wont turn over. Please, i need help.

if its spinning faster than normal and not started it sounds flooded. pull start it in 2nd gear it its a stick. once it starts keep the rpms up so it doesnt stall. it will smoke a bit but thats normal. flooding is usually caused by failing ignition, weak battery, older style starter, turning it off before its warmed up etc.
some questions for you
year, mileage, trans?

The engine turns over when it's cranking. Perhaps you mean "Cranks but won't fire" or "turns over but won't fire"?
1) Hook up the battery of another running car to the 8's battery via jumper cables to make sure you don't kill your battery.
2) Hold the gas pedal to the floor
3) Turn the key to Start and crank for 5-10 seconds
4) Let the starter cool off for the same time that you cranked it for
5) Repeat 3 and 4 10 times total
6) Take your foot off the gas and let the starter rest for 5 minutes
7) Repeat 2-6 one more time.
8) Attempt to start the engine normally.
9) if it doesn't start, repeat 2-6 one more time, then try starting again.
If it still doesn't start, then you have a major failure somewhere that is preventing it from having a chance at starting, but if it's just a normal flood, this will solve it with the new parts you have on there.
