Car looks fantastic and the engine rebuild looks great as well!!! Are you pleased with how the car runs and drives?

The car drives fairly well. Still keeping it under 5000rpm, so not a lot of power yet!
The issues are brake shudder from about 100km/h.
Suspension needs doing & some new rubber.
New updated stater motor to come as well.

Brake shudder is likely warped rotors or a poor surface area from hot spotting or pad/rust deposits if it had been sitting. Glad to hear it does drive well overall!

Black seats installed

I bought a complete set of black seats and door cards, but decided that I liked the black / grey door cards and so have left them in.

Bulk two-stroke oil.....

CEL off

The check engine light has been on post engine rebuild. I have LS coils installed and thought that was probably the issue. The issue was that my engine builder had the earth bolted to the front frame cross member. The earth needs to go to somewhere on the engine. I relocated the earth wire to the intake manifold and the light is now off! Result!!!!

Update: The CEL does come on intermittently. Further investigation required.

Finished running in the engine last weekend. So tomorrow I will be changing the oil and filter and giving it a general check over.
Would like to get a compression check too.
Anything else I should be doing???
Thanks.

Have covered nearly 8000km since I got the engine rebuilt.
Had the front crank seal replaced yesterday.
The CEL issue was finally solved, recalibrated the crank sensor.
Great car.......for the weekends!
