Need help with idle problem after new engine install
#27
Thanks man! Well actually I've already had theese charts and even tried to make mechanics check them out, but then they started saying things like it was impossible to connect harness improperly due to wire lengths, etc. I tried to somewhat insist on that but later I've understood that most probably it's very hard to check this wiring on installed engine with fuel rail and injectors buried down under intake manifold plastic part. Now that we're taking engine out of the car it's good that you reminded me to take another look there.

OMG! The problem is finally solved! I cannot beleive this 4-month long epos is over. So much pain in the *** just to find out that injector wiring was connected improperly.
As an excuse, the mechanic told me that the yellow tape color partly faded and it appeared whitish. And that he could not account on wire colors because for some reason they differ on what was drawn on scheme for all injectors except for (if i remember it right) front and rear secondaries. He says that he had to use some colorless detailed scheme to trace wires up to ecu (or maybe relay). Again if i remember right, it's front first and second primaries that were exchanged.
Now the car is smooth like monorail train. God, after my other car with its ceramic clutch (and this one being stock organic) I've almost forgotten how smooth can it be. It's almost a joy to drive uphill in heavy traffic, no I'm nearly serious :D
Thanks to everyone for your tips and support, especially 9krpmrx8, 04Green, tapeman and all others! Looks like it's time to finally get my Metra kit out of box and try to install some decent audio head unit to that car. But probably this is going to be another loooong story %)
