Question NEED MAJOR HELP electrical

alright guys ive got a 05 MT with around 158k on it but today as I was driving I went to do a uturn because I passed my turn as I did my uturn and was pulling to the stop sign my car just died and lost all power. I still have power to run my FOB (unlock/lock doors, pop trunk, alarm), can turn on and off headlights/taillights, can use interior lights, etc. but when I go to start the car back I have no dash lights, no radio, etc. and the car will not start. I thought it was a fuse or a relay checked all fuses and there good battery is less then 2 months old and was tight and swapped ign and ST relay and still nothing I pulled the tops off the relays so I could manually activate them and if I hit the IGN and ST relay at the same time the car attempts to turn over (belts turning, starter engaging, attempts to start and sounds perfect) Had my wife sit in the car depressing the clutch and attempted the same maneuver with the relays and still nothing with key on and key out of the ignition. Ive been searching for HOURS and can only think of its either ignition switch or clutch switch does ANYONE have an idea of what this can be ive been a mechanic for years and NEVER had this problem occur

One of the greatest drains the RX-8 can put on the battery is from the power steering motor, which is pulling it's strongest at low speed and greatest steering angle from center. Doing a u-turn would certainly qualify here. I had my RX-8 cut out a couple times under similar conditions when my battery terminals were corroded (until I pinpointed it), though it always re-started afterwards. I would think that your issue is going to be either grounding related, and/or something caused a current spike that blew a fuse that you haven't identified yet. Did you check the fuse panel near the clutch pedal?

(Just guessing here...)

I would check your grounds next. Maybe something is loose or broke off.
