Did you do all the resets required for a replacement engine install?
Also if you haven't yet done so read the new owners thread then read it about 12 more times No really read this!

Can you verify that you have good spark and good fuel pressure at the rail?
Do you have spark at all?? Any injector pulse? If not I'm thinking you have a bad eccentric shaft position sensor.
Are you confident in the routing of your coil connectors, coil placement, and plug wire routing?
When you installed the harness onto the engine, did you ensure the connectors for the fuel injectors were routed correctly and that the connectors were secure? Also, did you ensure that all ground points on the engine were clean and secure?
Is the mass airflow meter connecter clean and secure? Is the mass airflow meter clean?
Have you checked for any vacuum leaks and is the accordion tube secure over the throttle body?

Thank you for the thorough responses! Its finally running...i kinda suspected a vacuum leak as well, sure enough an itty-bitty pinhole in a hose was the prob. Idles a little rough, but revs like a beast. Appreciate the help
