Need a starter!
I just begin the task of calling to get an estimate for a starter for my RX-8. I first called the dealership and was told he would call me back after getting with the parts department for a price.
So i decided to call this auto repair company here, in my city, that I saw someone suggest on one of your threads/forums. They were super nice, plus as i was talking to here i discovered that they are a pet friendly establishment, which is a plus in my book. Any how she called 5 business that the auto repair company does business for aftermarket parts and NO ONE HAD 2009 STARTER IN STOCK!
The Mazda dealership called me and gave me a price estimate and confirmed that no one in town has it.
my question is, is this a temporary thing? Are 2009 starters extinct? lol And or what else can i do? What is my alternative?
