Need wiring diagram for engine swap

I'm swapping a JDM series I 6 port into another car, I'm going to be using a standalone ECU. What I need most is someone to explain the functions of the sensors and mechanisms (especially that spinny thing in the intake manifold) so that I can keep full functionality with the new ECU. I really appreciate any help you guys can give me.

All the sensors and mechanisms? This is going to take a while. I'd suggest getting a shop manual that gives you not just their functions, but the expected voltage ranges, resistance values, etc.

The spinny thing is the SSV. There are 3 such valves: SSV, APV and VDI. They activate at different rpm and load ranges to manage the intake flow.

I'm only going to cover the particular bits on the rx8 6 port engine, so you figure out common stuff like coolant temp sensor.
Intake valves:
  1. VFAD: external solenoid near the air box + an actuator in the intake tubing placed under the front bumper. Opens at ~5500RPM to allow for a shorter air passage.
  2. SSV: actuator on the lower intake manifold, the solenoid is under the upper intake manifold. Opens at 3750 rpm to enable the 2nd pair of ports to allow more port opening area = more airflow
  3. VDI: actuator on the lower intake manifold, the solenoid is under the upper intake manifold. Does a "supercharging" effect by redirecting pressure wawes. Opens at ~7250 rpm.
  4. APV: electric motor driven valves to open a 3rd pair of intake ports. Opens at 6000rpm, more airflow.
Weird auxiliaries:
  1. OMP: a pump that pumps small quantities of oil to be injected in the rotor housings. The flow is electronically adjustable by means of a stepper motor. Needs to be commanded with specific pulses for a stepper motor, which is unipolar so it takes 4 open drain outputs on your ecu.+ a switched 12v supply, and there is also a position switch on it to tell the ecu the OMP is actually responding to changes in flow. Can do 0 to 60 steps, 60 being max oil flow. You SHOULD NOT ignore this pump as it is critical to the life of the engine.
  2. Secondary air pump: unless required by emissions equipment, don't bother with this crap. This emissions thing activates a solenoid that directs vacuum to a valve through which air is pumped using a secondary air pump (also ECU commanded) into the catalytic converter to speed up warming up, with the help of excess fuel being dumped in during warming up.

The rest of the systems you'll have to figure out yourself. The thr body is standard, so is the fuel system, the injectors come online in 3 stages and should be run in a sequential mode.
Anyway this is not a task for anyone.
