New Buyer- Engine Bay Help

Hey everybody! I'm just getting into these cars and I found one that seems appealing, a 2009 model. I was wondering if anyone can point out any issues with this engine bay. I noticed the coolant level is pretty low, so that could mean an issue with that, I'd appreciate a second opinion.
Thank you to anybody who replies! I appreciate it a lot.

Welcome aboard! Looks stock with a few plastic covers missing.
You need a compression test to assess engine health. A rotary-specific test, it's not like piston engines.

No obvious red signs from looking at that engine bay but as Loki said, the one thing I would definitely recommend is getting a compression test on the motor.

I agree with both of the above posts. I would add however, that the the coolant level being low in the reservoir isn't always an indication of a potential issue with the car. The coolant level will fluctuate in the expansion tank, and while it should be kept nearest to the full mark, it's normal for the coolant to be lower than the full mark.

If you are seeing a low coolant indicator light on the instrument cluster, you should check the coolant level. If its between the low and full mark, it's likely that the coolant level sensor in the expansion tank has failed. This is very common and the expansion tank is replaced to solve the issue.
