I finally decided to make an account after perusing this site for over a year to get all the info I need to get my 8 up and running smoothly so thanks for all the help!

I know its frowned upon to post a new thread about stuff that's already been talked about but I have a good amount of issues so sorry and thanks in advance!

I have an '04 RX8 6MT with 78K miles on her, purchased in March 2014. 1st engine and 2nd owner. Bought her with 52K so I've been doing a good amount of driving. Living in Houston, TX. Hot humid and horrible road conditions.

(NEVER PREMIXED!) As I read its something you would only do in the early stages and it wouldn't matter at this point in the 8's engine life. Also, I don't think any of the recalls have been completed either.

For sure, I know I have to replace the rear suspensions as they are shot. Bottoms out every time I hit a dip or bump on the road. Will replace when I can afford some good ones.

Low coolant light appears...very frequently. At first, it would only show up at speeds excess of 80mph then would disappear when slowing down. Now it pops up driving at around 30 to 40mph. I've read that the sensor on the tank goes bad so not a big problem if that really is the issue. I top it off twice a month. Maybe I need a coolant flush?

Check engine light is on. Had autozone check the code for me. I know its not accurate but from their finding, the Purge valve solenoid is bad. Bought a new one, just waiting for time to replace it myself. Hopefully that will fix it cause my inspection sticker expires this month.

now on to the main problem...the car shakes and idles very rough at stops.
It's happened a year ago with a flashing CEL. It was jerking like crazy, wouldn't gain any power and smoke even started coming out from under the hood. So, I replaced the coils, spark plugs and wires. After that she ran smooth.

Did that about 20-25k miles ago then the car started to shake and idle rough again so I figured I would do another tune up so I replaced the coils, wires and plugs again thinking that would fix it but nope. It still shakes like crazy and RPM going up and down between 700-1000.

Recently done: conventional oil change/ filter, air filter (STP), Spark plug wires (Duralast), Ignition Coils (Duralast), Spark Plugs (NGK Iridium's), Cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner, Cleaned throttle Body with TB cleaner. Replaced gas cap about 25K miles ago.

Only thing I've yet to do is: Compression test, Motor mounts and seafoam (will do when I change the purge valve, most likely this weekend). But I know it could be other things.

Stills shakes and idles rough. Any ideas what it could be??? Any help would be appreciated.
