New to the forums + wheel bearing question

Hello!

I've been a long time lurker on these forums (ever since I got my '04 two years ago) and the amount of help I got here just by reading threads is unbelievable. The community here is amazing!

I've decided to register yesterday because I came up to a slight problem. The rear wheel bearings on my 8 are in dire need for replacement. On these forums I already found the part number and everything I need to purchase said parts and get the replaced. I have, however, found myself in a slight dilemma. F151-26-151 seems to be the correct part number for the bearings. However, these parts are quite expensive and I did a little more search on the interwebs and found a wheel bearing part for the 2004-2011 Mazda RX8, that is A LOT cheaper. The seller has great reviews it seems and everything seems to be in the working order. The only part I have trouble with, the F151-26-151 is nowhere to be listed in the AD. The only number listed is 511039 (05 06 07) - the first part, I believe, being the manufacturers part number.

I can't find anything on this on these forums even after an intense searching effort (or maybe I was just searching the wrong search words).

I would very much appreciate it if anyone with experience buying new rear bearings could help a newbie out. Will these bearings fit?

Again, thank you for all the help you can offer and thank you for being a part of such an amazing and helpful community.

P.S.

I am sorry if this question isn't for this subforum, but I can't seem to post anywhere else and I am in a hurry to get these replaced.

That is the correct part number and manufacturer code for a couple of companies. What brand of bearing are you looking at?
