New Found Love

I'm a virgin to the rotary world. I bought a bit of a lemon for 18 hundred a year ago. I loved it as I'd loved the 8 from the day dot. But should've done more research. Anyway, I forked out for a full engine refurb. When I got it back after about a grand and a half and it wasn't much better than when it went in, I was fuming. My mechanic told me it'd take a while to break it in, so I bit my lip. 500 miles in it was getting so much sweeter. After 1k and an oil change, it seems as good as new. I flipping love this car. As long as it starts when hot. This forum tells me everything I need to know. There's so many variables. But if you know how to suss out your problems, you can learn so much. The guys that know it all, you are ungodly. But please take it easy on the try harders. Great site, with so much to be learned. But it's a car and there's so much to get wrong. I'm so happy to have you sexy mother ducking 8 driving like I want her to. And I have you all to thank.

Well I paid 600 quid for the Atkins kit, got own apex seals from Mazda for 200, new flywheel, and got my housings lapped for 100 quid each. My pal did the labour cheap. Just because he wanted to tear down a rotary. When it didn't seem much better to begin with I started to worry. I didn't replace the irons. But that was almost the only thing because they looked good. But 1k miles in, it starts hot and the mpg is so much better. Anything else j should look at? Got the sweetest coils I could find on top. But that needed doing.
