New guy with a project rx8

What's up RX-8 enthusiasts my name is Tyler I'm from the Black Hills, can honestly say I've never had the urge to own an rx-8 however I own one now. One of my closest friends passed away June of this year and he owned a 2005 RX-8 as his project and a b5 audi a4. I paid off what was owed on the RX-8 and took it home with me, currently it sits with no motor and I believe the trans. is shot. He had many different plans with this car but the route I decided to take is a 13b REW swap. I made this decision after making an impulse buy over the weekend on what apparently is 75% of what is needed for a 13b REW swap. I'm more than likely over my head with this swap but the car is paid off and I have since sold my current project to help fund this one.

Here is a pic of it from a show we went to last year.

You need to put your undertray back on ASAP. If that means raising your car up, even better.

When I accrue more parts for the swap I will be looking into a different wheel setup which includes raising the car.

Sorry to hear about your friend, it happens to the best of them. Good luck with the build , slammed cars are not my style but I do like the look of those wheels.

Good deal. But get that undertray on pronto. It's integral to the cooling of the engine. Seriously.
